ASU women’s basketball followed up a big win over UTSA with another 32-point win as the Sun Devils routed Fresno State 81-49.
The Sun Devils got off to a slow start, but the offense really got going in the second quarter with forward Courtney Ekmark making her first five shots and two free throws to start the game with 12 points. Ekmark finished with 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting.
Arizona State played suffocating defense Wednesday out-rebounding Fresno State 41-25, forcing 15 turnovers and limiting the Bulldogs to 29 percent shooting from the field.
The leading scorers for Fresno State was guard Candice White and forward Genna Ogier as each scored 10 points.
