Arizona State (9-2) traveled to Las Cruces, New Mexico to face the New Mexico State Aggies (3-9) for an early morning matchup on Tuesday. The Sun Devils recorded their fifth straight win, defeating the Aggies 70-47.
It was a slow first quarter for the Sun Devils, with the Aggies putting up the first four points of the game. The lead flipped between teams throughout the entire first quarter, but the Sun Devils ended on top with a 14-11 lead.
After that, things were much easier for the Sun Devils in the second quarter, as they held New Mexico State to only four points.
