Arizona State women’s basketball rallied from 12 points down in the fourth quarter to upset No. 2 Oregon, 72-66, on Friday night.
The victory was one of the biggest in ASU history, tying with a 1982 win over No. 2 USC as the highest-ranked opponent to fall at home to the Sun Devils.
Trailing 56-44 with 7:45 remaining at Desert Financial Arena, ASU went on a 14-0 run that included a pair of 3-pointers by senior guards Robbi Ryan and Reili Richardson to take its first lead.
Senior forward Jamie Ruden also hit a 3-pointer and made two low-post baskets down the stretch.
