Two weeks ago, senior forward Courtney Ekmark went 2-of-12 from the field against No. 5 Louisville (10-0). The next day, she took no shots from the field against Southern Illinois (5-4) and had just two free throws.
Since that game, Ekmark has now scored double-digits in points four games in a row.
The No. 17 Devils (7-2) traveled to Fort Collins, CO and nearly doubled up the CSU Rams (4-4) 70-39 Sunday afternoon.
Ekmark surpassed her season-high of 19 points from just this past Friday. She netted 21 points, 18 from three-point range, in the team’s first road game since the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout.
