Australian point guard Jade Melbourne announced that she committed to Arizona State’s women’s basketball team.
Melbourne played for Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence during the 2019 NBL1 season where she averaged 11.4 points and 4.3 rebounds. The 5-10 guard also won a championship while playing with the Basketball Victoria U20 team.
She will be joining teammate Imogen Greenslade, who is a 6-foot-4 center from Sydney. The two played together in the U-20 championships and will be starting their first year at ASU together.
Melbourne picked ASU over Miami, Penn State and LSU.
