The Arizona state Sun Devils (10-22, 0-20 Pac-12) had one last shot to get their first conference win, but the Arizona Wildcats (11-18, 5-15) took away an last hope they had on Saturday in Tucson, as ASU lost 25-17, 25-17, 23-25, 25-17.
Senior libero Halle Harker had the lone bright mark for the Sun Devils. She officially moved into second all-time at ASU in digs, passing former libero Stepahnie Preach.
Harker finished the night with 31 digs, which was a season-high. In her Sun Devil career she finished with 2029 total digs.
The problem was that the offense could not covert many of the chances that Harker was providing them.
