After two dismal performances at home to begin Pac-12 play, the ASU volleyball team once again lost, dropping its third game in a row to the Stanford Cardinal, who are ranked second in the AVCA poll.
Stanford got off to a hot start in the first set, starting with a 15-7 lead. The Cardinal won three service aces in a row late in the set to extend the lead to 22-9.
The Cardinal eventually went on to win the set 25-12, and the team hit for an outstanding hitting percentage of .600 in the set, while the Sun Devils hit for a measly .
