After falling to USC for the first game of the weekend, the ASU volleyball team once again lost, this time at the hands of UCLA, who is ranked 18th in the AVCA Coaches Poll.
The beginning of the first set was close between ASU and UCLA, for the teams were tied at nine. However, the Bruins later broke the set apart, as the team went on an 8-2 run to put the Bruins up 17-11. UCLA went on to take the set 25-16 following its run.
UCLA came out hot in the second set, as the team started on a 5-1 run.
