Arizona State looked set wide receiver. It had senior Brandon Aiyuk primed to take over the lead role vacated by first round draft pick N'Keal Harry. It had two other returning veterans in Kyle Williams and Frank Darby. It also had Ryan Newsome returning from an injury and speedy freshman Geordon Porter looking to have a breakout season after redshirting last year.
But true freshman Jordan Kerley has put himself in the mix as well.
The product of McNeil High School in Austin, Texas has impressed on a regular basis since the Sun Devils started drills on July 31.
