The men lost 158-133 to the top-ranked Bears team and the women were crushed 172-118 by the fifth-ranked Cal women’s squad.
In men’s, Junior Carson Sand led the way for the Cal with 18 points. He finished first in both the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke. Both of his times were NCAA b-cuts.
Cal’s December PAC-12 swimmer of the month Justin Lynch had 13 points for the Bears. He won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 19.88 seconds nearly posting an NCAA a-cut. He also helped the Bears to a first-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay.
