Sophomore guard Dohnovan West of Arizona State is one of 85 athletes named to the 2020 Watch List for the Outland Trophy which goes annually to the nation's top interior lineman.
West, a native of Mission Hills, California, was an honorable mention All-Pac 12 selection, starting every game in 2019 as a true freshman, something rare for a newcomer from a Power 5 school.
The 6-foot-3, 273-pounder was the eighth-highest graded offensive guard in the Pac-12 last season, according to Pro Football Focus (68.4) – and will be the second-highest graded guard returning in 2020. He was one of only eight true freshman offensive lineman in the Pac-12 to play at least 200 snaps and the highest-graded of those per PFF by over 10 points.
