Four home runs and an offensive explosion for Arizona State (33-18, 13-11 Pac-12) helped bring out the brooms in their sweep over Oregon (22-30, 5-19) on Saturday. Twelve hits matched the Sun Devils’ runs in the 12-4 win.
The Hackbarth twins repeated their homers from Friday as they both homered in the third inning. Maddi leads the team with 19, followed by her sister Kindra at 16 blasts this season. The big six-run third proved to be the biggest difference in the contest. Sophomore third baseman Kiara Kennedy led off the frame with her first conference home run.
