Game one: Ryndak commanding, as Sun Devils capture first win of season
Sun Devil pitcher Dale Ryndak allowed a hit to the first batter she faced during Friday afternoon’s 9-1 win over the Purdue Boilermakers, but after that she dominated.
Ryndak would retire the next nine batters she faced as she found a groove for the first three innings.
She didn’t get into trouble until the fourth inning as she hit Purdue’s Mallory Baker with a pitch. Ryndak made up for her mistake as she got the next hitter to ground into a double play.
