Head coach Trisha Ford has made an impressive impact to start her Sun Devil career, but this afternoon she reached a milestone that will go down in her personal record book.
No. 12 ASU's (26-4) 3-1 victory over No. 20 California (24-7) notched Ford her 200th victory in her coaching career.
After four seasons with Fresno State, Ford continues to boost her status in her second season at ASU. Her overall head coaching record is now 200-99-1 in the six seasons.
This game took an extra three innings to credit a victor. ASU and Cal were held scoreless for five innings before each scoring a run in the sixth.
