On Thursday in Eugene, the Arizona State Sun Devils (9-5-1, 4-3-1 Pac-12) soccer team looked destined to draw at one with the Oregon Ducks (7-9-1, 1-8-0). Freshman forward Marleen Schimmer had different plans for how the game was going to end.
With a little over 20 seconds left in the second overtime, Schimmer found enough space on the right side to put in her second goal of the night, securing the road 2-1 victory for the Sun Devils.
