Arizona State alumni, Adriana Orozco, has officially signed a contract with club team Queretaro from the women’s professional soccer league in Mexico, Liga MX Femenil.
Club Queretaro presented Orozco, 23, as their new signing on Monday, August 28. Details of her contract have not been released yet but Orozco has already joined the team in their practices.
As a Sun Devil, Orozco was named the team’s Newcomer of the Year after her freshman season in 2015 and as a sophomore she earned a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention recognition.
She was also a key piece of Arizona State’s midfield core her entire junior season.
