ASU soccer were looking to bounce back after a winless weekend at home in the Sun Devil Desert Classic versus Boston University and No. 24 Central Florida.
The Sun Devils traveled to Tucson to begin the University of Arizona Tournament to face Texas Tech Friday.
Unfortunately for the Sun Devils, the winless streak has reached three matches after dropping the tournament opener versus the Red Raiders 2-1.
Arizona State broke through first in the 14th minute on a corner kick from winger Jemma Purfield finding Christina Edwards, who settled the ball down in the box and shot the ball into the back of the net past Texas Tech goalkeeper Carissa Christensen.
