Two weeks after Arizona State coach Todd Graham praised Patrick Suddes for his role in keeping the Sun Devils' 2016 recruiting class intact, the assistant athletics director for recruiting is leaving the program.
azcentral sports confirmed Thursday that Suddes is leaving to join Gus Malzahn's staff at Auburn where he will have a similar role.
This is the second time this week an ASU coach or football administrator has left for Auburn. Kodi Burns on Monday was introduced as Auburn's new co-offensive coordinator and receivers coach. An Auburn graduate, Burns worked at ASU for about six weeks before Malzahn called with a job offer, one the Sun Devils could not match.
