Arizona State continues to improve in NCAA Academic Progress Rate with a school-best multi-year overall score of 986, third best in the Pac-12.
Stanford is highest in the Pac-12 in the rolling four-year scores announced Wednesday at 996 with 1,000 being perfect for the metric that measures scholarship athlete retention and eligibility. Washington is next at 987 followed by ASU. Arizona is eighth at 977, up from 972 last year.
Teams must have a four-year APR average of 930 to be eligible for postseason competition.
ASU's multi-year APR, through 2013-14, is up from 982 last year and up from 937 when APR measurement began in 2003-04.
