Arizona State quarterback Jayden Daniels had quite the true freshman debut. He led the Sun Devils to eight victories, most notably one over then No. 6 Oregon in the next to last game of the regular season. Then came a Territorial Cup win over rival Arizona and a Sun Bowl victory over Florida State.
But he is participating in spring football for the second time as a Sun Devil and in some ways is going through the learning process all over again.
New offensive coordinator Zak Hill has brought with him a vastly different offense that places more burden on the quarterback, a responsibility Daniels welcomes.
