Former Arizona State football standouts Frank Darby and Aashari Crosswell have been invited to the 2021 NFL Scouting ombine, although that annual pre-draft event will have a different look this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The event usually is held in Indianapolis, but this year there won't be in-person workouts conducted. All interviews and psychological testing will be virtual with a plan to conduct medical tests still being discussed.
Athletes will undergo drills and workouts at their respective Pro Days with a maximum of three representatives per NFL team eligible to attend. The NFL Scouting Combine serves as a barometer for teams in evaluating draft potential.
