On the first day of classes Thursday, ASU football switched to morning practice at Kajikawa practice fields.
It was the 11th preseason practice and first open to the media since Tuesday.
Leading off
"You've got to go back on campus. You've got to go to class, be where you're supposed to be. A lot of distractions all of a sudden. You've got to handle all that. Especially the freshmen guys. I remember coming out of high school, I'm at Cal Berkeley, we practice at 3 and at noon I'm walking across campus and going this is interesting.
