Arizona State doesn't need help at receiver. Through four games, the Sun Devils are the country's only team to have five players post 100-yard receiving games.
Even so, freshman Curtis Hodges rotated in with the first team during Tuesday's initial "team" period on the Kajikawa practice fields. This isn't a total surprise.
A 6-7 receiver, Hodges got a strong look during preseason practice before an injury stalled his progress. He started the season on ASU's scout team but has continued to work his way up the depth chart. His strength is his size. In the red zone, the Mesa Mountain View product makes for a petty big target.
