The Arizona State football team just lost more depth as defensive linemen Jalen Bates and Darius Slade and wide receiver Terrell Chatman announced plans to transfer on their respective Twiitter accounts. All are red-shirt juniors
Bates,a 6-foot-4, 250-pound Louisiana native, played in 13 games, starting a handful. He recorded 31 tackles, six of those for a loss. He also had a pass breakup, a quarterback hurry and a forced fumble.
Slade, 6-4, 264-pounds from New Jersey, got in 11 games as a backup and registered eight tackles, a forced fumble and a recovered fumble.
