A week ago many thought the Pac-12 men's basketball crown was ASU's to lose. The Sun Devils had two huge wins over ranked teams, Mississippi State, who hasn't lost to anyone else, and then-No. 1 Kansas. But then ASU went out and lost to Princeton on its home floor on Saturday.
That same night, UCLA lost to Liberty – which prompted the firing of coach Steve Alford – California lost to Seattle University and Washington State lost to Santa Clara. All were on the Pac-12's home floors.
Defending champion Arizona has traditionally been a team to beat but it has been suspect as well.
