Arizona State senior linebacker Koron Crump is ending his college career early due to ongoing issues with his left knee.
Crump suffered a torn ACL in the third game of the 2017 season and has not sufficiently recovered to be an impact player this season. He has just six tackles in ASU's first six games and at times has been limited to special teams.
By not playing for the remainder of his redshirt senior season, Crump hopes to be healthy enough to warrant pro football consideration in the future.
Crump, 6-3, 216, came to ASU after two years at Fort Scott Community College.
