Arizona State landed its first commitment for the class of 2021 and it comes from a quarterback — Finn Collins out of San Joaquin Memorial in Fresno, Calif..
Collins, a 6-foot-3, 178-pound pro-style quarterback, threw for 3,576 yards and 39 touchdowns with just six interceptions in helping the Panthers to a 12-2 record that was highlighted by a Central Section championship. His team defeated Tulare Western 35-16 in the section championship game, then lost its opener in the state portion of the Division 1A playoffs to Serra 28-18.
Collins had six offers with the only other one from the Pac-12 coming from Oregon State.
