Outsiders looking at the Arizona State program thought the school had a lot to offer so they jumped at the chance to be part of the building process.
While most schools were putting the finishing touches on their 2021 recruiting classes, ASU was also introducing new additions to Herm Edwards' coaching staff. Those include Mike Cavanaugh who is replacing the retired Dave Christensen as offensive line coach and Chris Claiborne who will be linebackers coach, taking one of the many jobs of Antonio Pierce, now ASU's lone defensive coordinator.
The other addition is a not so new face with Adam Breneman elevated from graduate assistant to tight ends coach
Cavanaugh and Claiborne officially joined the staff on Monday.
