Arizona State and IMG College have ended have a lengthy dispute that spilled into the court system.
The parties announced a confidential agreement under which ASU withdraws the termination of its multi-media rights contract with IMG College that is replaced by a mutually accepted early termination effective June 30, 2014. IMG will retain all funds received from ASU sponsors for 2014-15, which IMG was holding during the dispute. IMG will pay ASU for inventory provided by ASU to IMG customers in 2014-15.
In October 2014, ASU terminated its athletic media rights agreement with IMG College, claiming more than $5 million in damages from IMG for failure to meet contract obligations.
