On Friday night, ASU hockey begins their series with 19th-ranked Air Force. The Sun Devils will look to pull off the upset on the road in one of their two games against one of the nation’s top teams.
The Sun Devils (1-1-0) are in the early stages of their second season in Divison-I. The team is trying to improve on a 10-19-3 record in 2016-17, and they are off to a good start splitting their first series with UMass-Amherst with a 5-3 win last Friday and a 4-2 loss last Saturday.
The weekend may have seemed like a disappointment as the team wanted a sweep.
