Brinson Pasichnuk is going to become the second Arizona State hockey player to play in an NHL game, as the defenseman is set to make his debut tonight against the Arizona Coyotes.
Pasichnuk, the program’s second all-time leader in points (passed by Johnny Walker this past season), had 37 points (third nationally) in 36 games during the 2019-20 season before signing with the San Jose Sharks as an undrafted free agent.
Pasichnuk was a three-year captain for head coach Greg Powers, donning the alternate captain logo on his sweater during his sophomore year before acquiring the “C” during his junior and senior campaign.
