The Sun Devils went into the break trailing at Stanford, 21-17, at Stanford Stadium in Northern California.
ASU had been down 21-10 until wide receiver N'Keal Harry stepped into the 'Sparky' formation and tossed a TD pass to Ceejhay French-Love.
Harry's TD was the second ASU score coming in the 'Sparky' formation, the first coming on a 4-yard direct-snap run by Demario Richard.
