Since announcing the dismissal of coach Todd Graham, Vice President of Athletics Ray Anderson has been clear that he felt ASU has not measured to a high enough level in both recruiting and developing NFL talent. The hire of former NFL coach Herm Edwards was the first step. Surrounding him with administrative support so he could focus on recruitment and coaching was second.
