Coming off three cancellations due to COVID-19, Arizona State (0-1) returns for its home opener against UCLA (2-2) on Saturday at Sun Devil Stadium. Follow along with Jeff Metcalfe's updates throughout the game.
No final magic for ASU
ASU advanced across midfield on its final possession for a first down at the UCLA 42-yard line.
Needing a touchdown, the Sun Devils had to take chances to push the ball downfield and couldn't make something happen in part due to a third-and-11 sack of Jayden Daniels.
On fourth-and-19 after the sack, Daniels tried for a Hail Mary that went incomplete on the game's next to last play.
