Opening question at Arizona State's weekly news conference: With you guys struggling on offense, have you found yourself coaching more on that side of the ball?
Coach Todd Graham smiled.
"Well, that was a mood killer," he said.
Over his first three seasons in Tempe, Graham spent most of his time molding his attacking defense, leaving the bulk of the offensive duties to coordinator Mike Norvell. This season, that has changed a little. Co-defensive coordinator Keith Patterson calls the defensive plays (although Graham signals them in from the sideline), which gives Graham more time to spend in other areas.
