Arizona State’s Fourth of July celebration started off pretty well as three-star wide receiver Jordan Kerley announced he had committed to the Sun Devils in the morning.
By noon, it got even better.
Tight end Nolan Matthews, who’s ranked as a three-star by 247Sports and Rivals, became the 11th 2019 commitment for Arizona State with his message on Twitter:
Matthews is the first tight end in ASU’s 2019 class and the fourth player out of Texas to commit to the maroon and gold. He also held offers from Iowa State, TCU, Kansas and others.
