Just weeks ago, St. Jonn Bosco High School (California) running back Demetrious Flowers sat on the sideline injured, as he watched as his teammates fall to Mater Dei in the state championship game, 49-24.
On Wednesday, 18 days later, he officially signed to play football at Arizona State University.
Rated a three-star recruit by Rivals, Scout and ESPN, Flowers joins a very talented ASU backfield, which will likely be spear-headed by Eno Benjamin, where he should fit in nicely with his powerful running style.
Listed at 6-feet, 210 pounds, Flowers is a north-south type of runner who excels running between the tackles, according to 247Sports.
