Only six days separate Arizona State from its first postseason game under coach Herm Edwards.
Following a 7-5 regular season (5-4 Pac-12), the Sun Devils aim to end the year with a bang, facing No. 21 Fresno State (11-2, 7-1 Mountain West) in the Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl.
The matchup marks ASU’s seventh bowl appearance in the last eight seasons. However, the Sun Devils have lost three of their last four, including a 52-31 defeat to NC State in last year’s Sun Bowl.
For the Bulldogs, the contest denotes their second bowl game in two seasons under coach Jeff Tedford.
