After blowing out Kent State 30-7 last Thursday, Herm Edwards and Arizona State (1-0) host to the Sacramento State Hornets (1-0) Friday night in Tempe. The Hornets jump-started their 2019 campaign by crushing Southern Oregon 77-19 at home. The 77 points edged out the old school record by a single point (76 points scored against San Francisco in 1968). Sacramento accumulated 685 yards of offense against a Raider defense that had an extremely rough night to say the least. Things will be a lot tougher on Friday when they face a Sun Devil defense led by Kobe Williams and Merlin Robertson.
