Redshirt sophomore quarterback Brady White will be transferring to play for former Arizona State Sun Devils offensive coordinator Mike Norvell with the Memphis Tigers, according to Jonah Jordan of 247Sports.com.
White later confirmed the report via Twitter Wednesday night.
Since he graduated, White will be eligible to play right away for the Tigers, who lost senior quarterback Riley Ferguson, a two-year starter.
White joined the Sun Devils before the 2015 season alongside Bryce Perkins, who has since transferred out of the program. He was engaged in a tight quarterback battle entering his second season, eventually losing the job to then-redshirt sophomore Manny Wilkins.
