The Arizona State football team finished off the abbreviated season with a 46-33 victory over Oregon State late Saturday at Reser Stadium.
The 2-2 finish was not exactly what the Sun Devils had been looking for, but the ASU braintrust seems happy with what it salvaged, given the 0-2 start and the three games lost due to a coronavirus outbreak that affected players and coaches, including Sun Devil head coach Herm Edwards.
ASU opted out of consideration for a bowl game with school administrators citing the toll the difficult circumstances have taken on the team.
