Arizona State defensive standout Tyler Whiley has been named to the Lott IMPACT Trophy watch list for the 2019 season.
That makes three straight years an ASU player has been singled out, with Whiley following Koron Crump who was listed in both 2017 and 2018.
The award is presented annually to college football's defensive impact player of the year and is named after Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Ronnie Lott.
Whiley, the likely starter at the Tillman safety, missed all of last season with a broken foot sustained in August.
