The tight end room in Tempe is adding another body. On Saturday, former Mississippi State tight end Geor’quarius Spivey has committed to the Sun Devils as he announced on his Twitter.
In three seasons in Starkville, Spivey hauled in 14 career catches for 153 total yards. However, he had a standout performance late in the season in 2020. Spivey caught five balls for 97 yards.
Coming out of Louisiana in the 2017 class, he was rated a three-star by 247Sports. His 6-foot-5 and 240 pound frame is certainly attractive for a coaching staff and allows him to get jump balls like he did in the clip below.
