SALT LAKE CITY — Arizona State got so thoroughly whipped against Utah on Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium that it’s tempting to want to forget about it and move on.
But a team has to learn its lessons in order to grow and get better.
“I think the lesson (is), when you play in a game like this, you can’t let your emotions take over,” ASU coach Herm Edwards said. “We’ve been pretty good with that. But tonight was one of those nights where I was like, ‘What are we doing?’ I couldn’t believe what I was watching.
