Arizona State Sun Devils senior 2016 sack-leader Koron Crump was awarded an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA Friday evening following an injury-plagued 2017 season where he missed conference play.
Crump played just two full games this season before he tore his ACL against Texas Tech. In his quick stint, Crump picked up right where he left off, earning four sacks, which was just three less than ASU sack-leader A.J. Latu.
The 6-3, 218-pound St. Louis, Missouri native previously attended Fort Scott Community College (Kansas) before he transferred to ASU as a junior and led the team with nine sacks in 2016.
