Herm Edwards continued the overhaul of his coaching staff Sunday, as the program announced the hiring of offensive line coach Klayton Adams. This latest move replaces Dave Christensen, who retired at the conclusion of the 2020 season. Adams will also hold the designation of run game coordinator.
Most recently, Adams was on the sideline in the NFL, serving as an assistant offensive line coach with the Indianapolis Colts. He joins a staff that is already rich with NFL experience, something that has made ASU a desirable destination for recruits with professional aspirations. With a number of high profile linemen recruits on the horizon, the addition of Adams should help Edwards and Antonio Pierce ink some big names.
