Redshirt junior offensive lineman Sam Jones became the third Arizona State player to forego his senior season and enter the 2018 NFL Draft, joining redshirt junior linebacker Christian Sam and junior defensive end JoJo Wicker.
He announced his decision via his Twitter page Thursday morning.
The 6-5, 290-pound Highlands Ranch, Colorado native played in each game of the 2017 season following an injury-riddled sophomore year.
Jones was deemed one of three ASU captains before the season’s start alongside Wicker and Kalen Ballage and proved as a leader smashing the rock at the end of summer workouts.
