The “Herm effect” is real. ASU football gained its 21st pledge in the Class of 2019 on Thursday.
That commitment came in the form of four-star quarterback Jayden Daniels. Daniels joins Joey Yellen and Ethan Long as other quarterback commits in the 2019 class.
Ranked the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback by 247Sports, Daniels is among the nation’s highest-regarded prospects.
In his senior season at Cajon High School in San Bernadino, California, Daniels threw for 4,515 yards and 60 touchdowns while throwing just four interceptions. He also started on varsity as a junior, when he threw for 62 touchdowns and only five interceptions.
