Pac-12 play begins for Arizona State football against No. 24 Oregon, a team that has been a source of frustration for the Sun Devils for more than a decade.
The Sun Devils last beat the Ducks in 2004 – two ASU coaches ago – and since has dropped 10 straight in the series. Even last year when Oregon fell to 4-8, which resulted in a coaching change, the Ducks won 54-35 over ASU for one of their two Pac-12 victories.
Oregon is off to a 3-0 non-conference start. The Ducks were picked to finish fourth in the Pac-12 North in a preseason media poll behind Washington, Stanford and Washington State.
