Just like that, goals that seemed to have slipped out of Arizona State’s grasp are now back in play.
A dominant fourth quarter locked down a 38-20 victory over No. 16 Utah at Sun Devil Stadium, ASU’s second consecutive win and its first at home since beating Oregon State Sept. 29.
With the victory on homecoming, ASU is now solidly in the mix in the crazy Pac-12 South Division, where every team has at least three conference losses. The Sun Devils (5-4 overall, 3-3 in the conference) ended Utah’s run of four consecutive Pac-12 wins with their 13th win over the Utes in the past 15 meetings.
